Venn 1060 TCD SL: 106mm for the fastest courses
At 106mm deep, the Venn 1060 TCD SL is our deepest rim: a disc-brake rim for time trials, triathlon and long solo efforts. It weighs 620g (±15g). As with any very deep rim, it is at its best as a rear wheel, or at the front for experienced riders on calm days.
Profile
The 23.5mm internal width and 35mm maximum width (30mm at the bead) suit 25–30mm tires. Available with 24 or 28 spoke holes; ERD 428.5mm.
Ultra-precise 1k filament winding
The outer shell is wound with our 1k process: every carbon tape carries exactly 1,000 fibres, so each fibre goes precisely where it is needed. Think of it like building with LEGO® – smaller bricks make a more detailed, more precise structure. The narrow tape also lets gas escape more easily during curing, which gives a uniform, well-compacted laminate and a smooth, uncoated Class-A surface.
Tubeless ready
The hooked bead takes tubeless tires as well as standard clinchers with inner tubes. Run tubeless with sealant and most punctures seal themselves before you notice them.
Tool access holes or a sealed bed
Order the rim with tool access holes (fit tubeless tape) or without them for a true tubeless bed that needs no tape at all. The sealed version takes external nipples only.
Your finish, your decals
Choose gloss uncoated or matte uncoated – both show the wound carbon, with no paint or clear coat added. Decals come in black, or leave them off for a clean, unbranded rim.
