Venn 5028 TCD UL: one rim for fast road and gravel
The Venn 5028 TCD UL pairs a 50mm deep aero profile with a 28mm internal width, at 380g (±15g). It is made for riders who go from tarmac to gravel on the same bike: wide enough to support 35–50mm tires, deep enough to stay fast on the road.
Profile
The rim is 36mm at its widest and has a hooked bead, so it takes both tubeless and clincher tires. Available with 20, 24 or 28 spoke holes; ERD 540.5mm.
Ultra-precise 1k filament winding
The outer shell is wound with our 1k process: every carbon tape carries exactly 1,000 fibres, so each fibre goes precisely where it is needed. Think of it like building with LEGO® – smaller bricks make a more detailed, more precise structure. The narrow tape also lets gas escape more easily during curing, which gives a uniform, well-compacted laminate and a smooth, uncoated Class-A surface.
Tubeless ready
The hooked bead takes tubeless tires as well as standard clinchers with inner tubes. Run tubeless with sealant and most punctures seal themselves before you notice them.
Tool access holes or a sealed bed
Order the rim with tool access holes (fit tubeless tape) or without them for a true tubeless bed that needs no tape at all. The sealed version takes external nipples only.
Your finish, your decals
Choose gloss uncoated or matte uncoated – both show the wound carbon, with no paint or clear coat added. Decals come in black, or leave them off for a clean, unbranded rim.
