Venn 780 TCD SL: 78mm of depth for flat-out speed
The Venn 780 TCD SL is a 78mm deep disc-brake road rim weighing 520g (±15g), made for time trials, triathlon and fast flat roads, where aerodynamics matter more than anything else.
Profile
The 22.5mm internal and 28mm external width suits 25-28mm tires. Available with 20, 24 or 28 spoke holes; ERD 484.2mm.
Moulded for a flawless wall
Articulated, multi-part tooling, layup preformed to net shape and controlled pressure and temperature give a fully compacted wall, virtually free of voids, and a surface that needs no clear coat.
Tubeless ready
The hooked bead takes tubeless tires as well as standard clinchers with inner tubes. Run tubeless with sealant and most punctures seal themselves before you notice them.
Tool access holes or a sealed tire bed
Order the rim with tool access holes (fit tubeless tape) or without them for a true tubeless tire bed that needs no tape at all. The sealed version takes external nipples only.
Your finish, your decals
Choose gloss uncoated or matte uncoated. Both show the bare carbon, with no paint or clear coat added. Decals: silver Venn Hanko, the original black Venn logo, or none.
