Venn 620A TCD UL: the aero version of our 62mm road rim
The Venn 620A TCD UL shares its 62mm depth with the 620 TCD SL but uses a more aerodynamic shape. It measures 29.5mm at the tire bead and swells to 32.5mm lower down, so the rim is wider than the 28mm tire it carries. Air leaving the tire stays attached to the rim instead of breaking away, and that is where a deep rim earns its speed.
Road tires and builds
The 24mm internal width suits 28–30mm road tires. Choose 20 or 24 spoke holes – the holes are moulded in, not drilled, so the fibres around each one are never cut.
Ultra-precise 1k filament winding
The outer shell is wound with our 1k process: every carbon tape carries exactly 1,000 fibres, so each fibre goes precisely where it is needed. Think of it like building with LEGO® – smaller bricks make a more detailed, more precise structure. The narrow tape also lets gas escape more easily during curing, which gives a uniform, well-compacted laminate and a smooth, uncoated Class-A surface.
Tubeless ready
The hooked bead takes tubeless tires as well as standard clinchers with inner tubes. Run tubeless with sealant and most punctures seal themselves before you notice them.
Tool access holes or a sealed bed
Order the rim with tool access holes (fit tubeless tape) or without them for a true tubeless bed that needs no tape at all. The sealed version takes external nipples only.
Your finish, your decals
Choose gloss uncoated or matte uncoated – both show the wound carbon, with no paint or clear coat added. Decals come in black, or leave them off for a clean, unbranded rim.
