Venn 2430 THL AM 32″: trail riding on 32-inch wheels

The Venn 2430 THL AM 32″ puts our 2430 trail profile on a 32-inch wheel. The bigger diameter rolls over roots and rocks more easily and carries speed through rough ground. It is 24mm deep with a 30mm internal width and weighs 350g (±15g).

Profile

30mm internal and 36mm external width, for 32-inch trail tires. Available with 24, 28 or 32 spoke holes. Check that your frame and fork are made for 32-inch wheels. The profile is asymmetric: the spoke holes sit 3mm off centre, which evens out the spoke tension between the two sides of the wheel. Lace it with the offset toward the non-drive side at the rear and away from the brake rotor at the front.

Moulded for a flawless wall

Articulated, multi-part tooling, layup preformed to net shape and controlled pressure and temperature give a fully compacted wall, virtually free of voids, and a surface that needs no clear coat.

The fibre is a blend of T700/T800 and T1100 grades.

Hookless and tubeless

The hookless bead seat holds tubeless tires firmly and shrugs off rim strikes better than a hooked edge. Use tubeless tires approved for hookless rims and stay within the tire maker’s hookless pressure limit.

Tool access holes or a sealed tire bed

Order the rim with tool access holes (fit tubeless tape) or without them for a true tubeless tire bed that needs no tape at all. The sealed version takes external nipples only.

Your finish, your decals

Choose gloss uncoated or matte uncoated. Both show the bare carbon, with no paint or clear coat added. Decals: silver Venn Hanko, the original black Venn logo, or none.
