The profile of the Venn 360 TCD road disc brake bike 36mm carbon rim was developed to offer the best aerodynamics when used with 28mm tires and above and is part of the same family as the exceptional Venn Var 507 carbon rim series.

Besides its very low weight of just 345g (+/-15g) the external width of 28mm optimizes the airflow in combination with wider tires, while the internal width of 23mm ensures that the wider tires achieve a stable, round profile. The rim width also means that the rims are laterally very stiff while the 1k filament winding process ensures that the rims remain vertically compliant due to the 45 degree fiber layup bias. The advanced CFD developed profile of the Venn 360 TCD  carbon rims ensures that their aerodynamic performance exceeds that of any rim in a similar category.

Our latest evolution in carbon manufacturing uses an ultra-precise 1k winding process – meaning each tape contains exactly 1,000 carbon fibers.

While our 4th generation process already led the industry in precision, this new narrower tape allows for even more precise fiber placement and creates an exceptionally smooth, void-free structure.

Think of it like building with LEGO® – using smaller bricks allows you to create a more detailed, precise structure. This refined process delivers an uncoated Class-A finish and allows for better gas evacuation during the curing process, resulting in an even more uniform carbon structure with superior compaction.

The rims are compatible with clincher, or tubeless tires that when used with a sealant virtually eliminate the inconvenience of having a flat tire away from home, or during a race.
