Venn 257 THL is a gravel and XC race specific tubeless, hookless, asymmetric 650b or 27.5″ carbon rim.
Its special offset profile ensures that any carbon wheels built with these rims will be as stable as technically possible, and will remain true for longer. The layup was optimised for greater compliance which improves both comfort and the ability of the wheels to remain in contact with the ground.

The look and feel of the 257 THL gravel rim I got is nothing less than some of the other known brands in the market, which probably are at a much higher price point, so why pay more. Totally impressed with the quality of this carbon rim, it’s the perfect tubeless carbon rim to get if you race like me.

Buying hook less carbon rims online is a scary prospect but I decided to take a leap of faith Venn. Not only was I not disappointed I am super impressed with the whole experience. The customer service was very helpful. The 257 THL carbon rim themselves are perfect for me. Weights and dimensions are as advertised. For a lightweight set of wheels they are rock solid. I’ve hit a few big holes and they didn’t even notice. There is no sign of flex when climbing and they give me a great feel on descending so that it gives me the confidence to go even harder. But for me though the most surprising and standout feature is their durability when I race. Faultless!
