Venn 18 MTH is a range of extreme performance MTB rims. From the world leading 275g SL specification, to XC race spec 290g, and 370g for the DH version. It is one rim that is perfect for any riding style.

The world leading 275g (+/-15g) weight was achieved by optimal use of T800 carbon fiber. Our 5th generation 1k filament winding process allowed us to achieve a layup that not only achieves the ultra low weight but achieves the necessary durability. The same technology allowed us to keep the weight at a class leading level for the XC and DH versions.

Our latest evolution in carbon manufacturing uses an ultra-precise 1k winding process – meaning each tape contains exactly 1,000 carbon fibers.

While our 4th generation process already led the industry in precision, this new narrower tape allows for even more precise fiber placement and creates an exceptionally smooth, void-free structure.

Think of it like building with LEGO® – using smaller bricks allows you to create a more detailed, precise structure. This refined process delivers an uncoated Class-A finish and allows for better gas evacuation during the curing process, resulting in an even more uniform carbon structure with superior compaction.
